Top News & Magazines Apps on Android in Poland: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top news and magazine applications on the Android platform in Poland showcased varied trends. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps:

X (Formerly Twitter) saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.5K in mid-March. Downloads were highest at the start of the quarter with 16.7K, gradually declining to 10.9K by the end of March. Weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with around 1.7M.

Radio Republika experienced a high of 46.7K downloads in mid-January, followed by a steep decline to just over 300 by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, starting strong at 67.9K, and dropping to 23.4K.

Opera News: breaking & local maintained a modest download rate, with a high of 3.2K at the beginning of the quarter, decreasing to 271 by the end. Active users started at 52.7K and ended at 34.3K, showing a general downward trend.

Breaking News: Local & Alerts downloads began at 3.6K, decreasing significantly to 393 by the end of March. However, active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 58.6K.

Substack had a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 1.2K in mid-January. Active users also saw a positive trend, starting at 3.3K and rising to 4.5K by the end of the quarter.
